Roanoke Valley Chapter

Campfire

This newly formed group is off and running!  Sam Golston will be meeting with Allen Lawson of the NPS to discuss work at the Roanoke Campground as well as trail maintenance work.

If you are interested in volunteering for the upcoming projects, or want information on joining the chapter's steering committee, please contact Sam at Sam_Golston@hotmail.com or call the FRIENDS office toll free at 800-228-PARK (7275).

Every Sunday night until August 30th, you are invited to bring a lawn chair and enjoy an hour of mountain music at Roanoke Campground (MP 120.4) from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.  You'll enjoy old-time bluegrass, country, Celtic music and more.  Please note that the time changes to 5:00 p.m. from September 6 - October 11.
